I love challenges. My goal is 5 pages a day.

    Thanks for setting this up.

  2. briaq March 8, 2012 at 3:52 pm #

    VICTIM 1!!!!

  3. Angi Black March 8, 2012 at 3:55 pm #

I’m in. My goal is 2000 words a day.

  4. briaq March 8, 2012 at 3:57 pm #

Awesome! Welcome to Victim 2! 😉

  5. Sabrina Shields March 8, 2012 at 3:58 pm #

    I’m in.

My goal for the 3 weeks – 2 pages a day. That’s a little bit of a stretch for me I hate to say, but I’m owning it. I don’t want to put a goal I think I could reach based on my current writing. I want a little challenge (not one too unrealistic though).

    So, 2 pages a day.

    Anyone with me? 🙂

I’ll throw in some prizes – I’m offering up a 1 print book and 2 audio books from my TBR shelf in the genre each winner chooses.

  6. briaq March 8, 2012 at 4:00 pm #

Woooooot! I’ll add the prizes and WELCOME!

I could totally use an audio book…wait, am i quailifed for the drawings? *ponders*

  7. Ashley Maker March 8, 2012 at 4:02 pm #

This sounds amazing! I’d love to be a part of this. I think I’ll set a word goal of 150 words/day. Let me know if there’s anything else I need to do 🙂 I’m really excited about this! It’s just what I needed to keep motivated.

  8. Sabrina Shields March 8, 2012 at 4:02 pm #

    Of course you are!

  9. briaq March 8, 2012 at 4:04 pm #

@ashley – AWESOME! Get ready to dive in!

    @sabrina – You’re so good to me 😉

Looks like we’re getting close to having teams!

  10. Megan March 8, 2012 at 4:08 pm #

    Great Megan – You’re in!

  13. Irene Lefort March 8, 2012 at 4:34 pm #

Any topic/ genre? I made a challenge with myself to blog every day. Is it cheating, if I tagged those with #wordfool? 🙂 https://twitter.com/#!/366degree

  14. abby mumford March 8, 2012 at 4:37 pm #

i LOVE the sound of this, but i’m going to have to take a raincheck this month. too much external stuff going on. (wow, that sounds a lot more dramatic than real life.)

  15. briaq March 8, 2012 at 4:43 pm #

@Irene – sure! Why not. But pick a word minimum for your daily blogs and you’re good to go.

    @Abby – I responded. I love that you’re like “we’ll do it next month, right?” ummm… lol we’ll see!

  16. Irene Lefort March 8, 2012 at 5:02 pm #

    Okay! I’m in at 600 words. 🙂

  17. briaq March 8, 2012 at 5:04 pm #

Great Irene! That seems reasonable for a post!

  18. caitiequinn March 8, 2012 at 6:59 pm #

I’m in for 1 page a day… pushing my luck with everything else going on!

    @caitiequinn

  19. Emma D, March 8, 2012 at 9:08 pm #

  20. briaq March 9, 2012 at 7:17 am #

    Woohoo ladies! Welcome

  21. Angi Black March 9, 2012 at 2:24 pm #

I’m already signed up and my goal is 2000 words a day but wanted to put in that you can find me a twitter @AngiNicole722 and also that April 1st is my birthday and you should consider that when giving prizes. 😉 Can’t wait to get started!

  22. briaq March 9, 2012 at 2:27 pm #

    LOL Angi… suuuuuuuure it’s your birthday 😉

Thanks for adding your twitter address – we’re going to have a great time!

  23. Marnee Bailey March 9, 2012 at 2:57 pm #

I’m in too! Either revise 2 pages a day or write 1000 words a day. I have the last 50 pages of this dratted story to finish revising and then I want to start on the rough of my next. So I’m in. Whoot!!

  24. Sabrina Shields March 9, 2012 at 2:59 pm #

    WAHOO Marnee!

  25. briaq March 9, 2012 at 3:01 pm #

Yay Marnee – so, just to be clear, you’re:

revise 2 pages/day until you’re done then swtiching to 1000 words/day writing on a new story – right?

  26. Marnee Bailey March 9, 2012 at 3:04 pm #

Yep! There may be a few days lagtime between revision completion and 1000/day begin time while I map out a rough outline. But yes, that’s the goal.

  27. Kristen Koster (Kaige) March 9, 2012 at 3:12 pm #

Ow! ow! Ow! That’s the sound of Bria twisting my arm. I thought it would be unfair of me to use what I’m writing for a different challenge toward this one. So I’m going to kill myself here. I must do about 500 words a day for that one. I also need to add words to another ms… so I’m going to jump in here for #WordFool for an additional 250 words a day on that one.

  28. briaq March 9, 2012 at 3:14 pm #

    You’re nuts…but welcome.

SEE! I can be a sanity check 😉

  29. sashikaufman March 9, 2012 at 3:17 pm #

Okay, agency sistah is in! Can only commit to a page per day b/c parent teacher conferences and husband daughter birthdays are both in this time frame (I might be crazy but I need to get my butt back in the writing chair.)
I will think about a possible prize I could offer….
    I’m on twitter @sashikaufman

  30. briaq March 9, 2012 at 3:19 pm #

HA Sashi! Another one SUCKED IN 😉

And yes, another crazy one – that’s a lot this month 🙂

  31. Keri Ford March 9, 2012 at 8:10 pm #

I’ll play! 1,500words per day. (31,500words). and I’m going to be all complicated and start off with, I have conference next weekend. so I’ll either get ahead this week or catch up the following week. by wk 3…when it’s almost over, I’ll it all be going right LOL

And I’ll do prizes. I’ll match Sabrina and do 3 winners. Winner’s choice of my backlist.

  32. Keri Ford March 9, 2012 at 8:13 pm #

*fail* any format. I’ll email copies directly to my winner. I have them all. pdf, prc, mobi, epub and then a couple I’ve never heard of…never once given them out.

  36. briaq March 9, 2012 at 8:34 pm #

  40. Jami Montgomery March 9, 2012 at 10:34 pm #

This sounds like so much fun!

My goal is 200 words a day. 🙂

  42. Monica B. W. (@Monica_BW) March 10, 2012 at 9:15 am #

    Sorry I’m late!! 😛
Okay, so can I say my goal is to finish revisions? 😉
But maybe I win because my goal is to finish them next week! EEP!

  43. briaq March 10, 2012 at 10:13 am #

Yup, but you need a daily goal bc the game is to meet you daily goal 6 days a week.

The minimum for revisions is 2 pages/day 🙂 So I’m thinking you’ll pick 30 revised pages a day, right? You can do that 😉

  44. Isabelle Flynn March 10, 2012 at 10:36 am #

I’m in at a crazy goal of 500 words a day. I know, I know. Hold me back! 🙂 I’m a little nervous. Whenever I set myself a daily writing goal, I’m usually setting myself up for some sort of crisis. I might be calling the locusts down upon my house.

    Twitter me at @IsabelleFlynn

  45. briaq March 10, 2012 at 10:40 am #

Isabelle – I am the SAME way. Let’s see: car accidents, skin cancer issues, floods, job loss, job gain… if there’s a big change, it’s always during a focused writing time!

Maybe we’ll cancel each other out 😉

  46. Alexia Reed March 10, 2012 at 2:26 pm #

I’m in for- revise 2 chapters and write 500 words a day.

    Twitter: @alexia_reed

  47. briaq March 10, 2012 at 2:29 pm #

so, just to make sure I have this, every day you’re going to revise 2 entire chapters AND write an additional 500 words a day???

And you call me aggressive LOL GO YOU!

  48. Alexia Reed March 10, 2012 at 2:37 pm #

I might be a tad crazy, BUT it has to get done.

  49. briaq March 10, 2012 at 2:40 pm #

    I know the feeling

  50. Lisa B. March 10, 2012 at 5:34 pm #
