Author Blogs – What’s Your Must Read?

6 Sep

I asked on twitter, but I thought ‘d carry it over here and see what we might come up with.

If you could read, only one blog written BY AN AUTHOR (not a non-author about writing, an actual writer — published or not), which would it be? Would you go for information? entertainment? Genre specific? Hero worship? Which one would you read and why?

From twitter, we go these:

@CateRowan –>  Just one writer’s blog? I’d read J.A. Konrath–but then, I’m indie, too.

@PizaSeven –> @cjredwine blog! Its awesome sauce x 20 billion and one

@Tamara_Morgan –>  One of the only writer blogs I read regularly is @katiebabs. #writerblogs

@justJoanS –> Hmmm . . . that’s a tough one. There are too many to choose . . . probably @mstiefvater ‘s. She amuses me.

@kaolinfire –> Warren ellis is a master of bloggery

What about you, what’s you ONE author must read?

    I check in daily to The Crazy Bookworm

    The reviews are honest constructive and fair, the interviews are excellent and the entire blog screams of professionalism.

    I adore Jennifer Crusie, and her blog (Argh Ink) is a great balance of entertaining stuff about her books and her life, and general writing advice.

    Um, the only writer’s blog I consider a must read is yours. If I have to pick someone else, it’s Alex Sokoloff at http://thedarksalon.blogspot.com/. The name of her blog alone is enough to snag my interest.

    LOL this isn’t a contest…. there’s no need to kiss up, darlin’ 😉

    Adding Alex to the list

    I agree on Jennifer Crusie’s blog. She’s a favorite of mine.
