That's great Sarah - I'm so glad to see the whole "kids/teens/young people don't read" thing is a lie - I mean, how do you explain Young Adult books jolting up the best seller lists.

Hope you find something else great to read after Twilight!

Yay! Lol, i feel special now. But still DISGUSTED at whoever did it to Ms Meyer. And to think, it was someone she knew and trusted too! GRR! I hope she sues his/hers ass and sends him/her to JAIL! That headline in a news paper saying 'Twilight fans out for blood' WASN'T LYING! Lol, gotta love the creativity put into THAT. :D :P :)

No problem on the link - I typically delete links, but I do think this one is important.

Why?

Not because I desperately need to read the rest of Midnight Sun, but because I am COMPLETELY DISGUSTED by the author abuse that set the need for that petition in motion.

Posting people's books online is STEALING.

Perhaps you don't know how much an author makes on a book.... Here it is 6 to 8 PERCENT.... you do the math on your $6 book... The author is not the person bringing home the big bucks.

Every time someone downloads a book or takes the time to TYPE IT IN TO SHARE on some of these sights --- every time someone starts one of those "online libraries" where people can download and print and keep the book forever (which is not a library btw) you are STEALING from an author.

Every time your favorite author doesn't hit her numbers and her publisher doesn't ask her to sign another contract - YOU THE READER LOSE BY LOSING A WELL LOVED WRITER.

Please, please don't put more authors like Ms. Meyer in that position, before or after the book comes out!

Ok, i was going to blog on this subject this week - maybe I still will. But I feel strongly about this and that's why Sinead has what may be the only non-information based link left untouched in my comments :)

Oh My gosh! I love the whole series! *sigh*

Twilight -- It was my favorite. It was SO cute and believeable (funnyly enough). i was completley blown away! a bit angry at Edward at the end, but i guess he had his reasons.

New Moon -- i felt physically AND mntally blown away/ murdered/ traumatized in every way! I was SO angry and upset that i had to put the book down for several minutes at a time to recover! and at the startish, when there are those blank pages with only the name of the month. I was SO close to rip them out! THE SUSPENCE!!!!!!!!!

Eclipse -- i was confused. I wanted Edward and Bella to be together, but then i remembered all of Bella's pain... and Jacob helping her... Ugh, confusing!!!!! in the end though. I still think Edwards better.

Breaking Dawn -- Oh My God! part 1. a bit dodgy... but hilarious at the start! "Wait until Charlie puts away the gun" *sigh of enjoyment". Part 2. DAMNIT! im sorry Jacob put go away! i felt as if Bella would never come back! part 3. Stupid Voltori... AND Irina. But i was kindof sad to see her go, with her saddened family and all that...

In conclusion; The series is AWESOME!

Recovery; impossible. i'm sorry. My friend got the book when it first came out. She still never shuts up about it when someone brings it up! (not that i don't eithwr Lol)

I can't wait for the movie (i'm annoyed to have to wait for the 8th of january though *glares at my own contry* stupid New Zealand... making me wait longer...

P.S Please! sign the petition for Stephenie Meyer to continue Midnight Sun (it's a long story about why. and i'm sorry if you get mad at me for doing this but i feel its important!!!) Heres the link http://www.thepetitionsite.com%2F1%2Fsupport-meyer-and-midnight-sun

Sorry if you hate me for that. but it IS important!!!

OH Andi! I'm fearing reading it. I kind of wish I could just know what happens without the angst. I'm just not up for angst right now ---

BUT, her books are more an experience than just a book, you know?

Can't wait to hear what you think once you've recovered!

BREAKING DAWN is a very involved read. I really, really loved a lot of it. And some of it I didn't...but nothing has really changed. I'm still in lurve with a 17-year-old vampire. Meyer delivered what I wanted her to deliver.

I plan to do a review, but I wanted to wait a bit...let the story settle a bit.

It's never too late! Especially for you Andi!

It is a sucked in situation - coming off of Nationals I'm wondering if I have the emotional capacity to survive Breaking Dawn right now.

You'll have to give me a thumbs up/down!

Okay, so I read this post July 14th-ish. And I wanted to respond, but figured it was too late. And then Kaige said, "No, Wordpress emails comments."

So I'm commenting now.

YES.

I got sucked in. I got sucked in DEEP. So deep, in fact, that I am considering writing my own angsty YA.

And I am totally spending tomorrow (August the 2nd) reading BREAKING DAWN. I love Edward! I love the way he loves Bella. And I love the way she loves him.

Meyer delivers. Period.
